Gathering with friends and family

This past Wednesday we celebrated a soft launch of my city council campaign with friends and family. My only regret is that I didn’t record Amanda’s introduction of me. (Which is amusing when you consider how often I’m documenting what folks have to say.) You’ll just have to take my word for it- it was lovely! So proud of our team already, Anita, Diane & Luca dove right in to make sure folks felt at home and had full bellies. And we got to raise a glass to toast the latest community victory led by the City-Wide Tenant Union of Rochester: Passing Good Cause Eviction Protection!

If you weren’t able to join us in person, don’t worry, we’ll have more chances to get together and “break bread & build”. Sign up for the mailing list to make sure you don’t miss anything. And if you’re looking to get involved in the campaign, you can sign up to share your time and skills or even host a meet & greet “house party” in the next few months to help with fundraising & friendraising.

In the mean time enjoy some photos from the event captured by Richard Colón.
