 Dear Committee Member,

Let’s talk about our future. Let’s talk about what’s possible when we commit to each other, when we step up to meet the needs of our people, protect our planet, and lead boldly where it matters most. In these challenging times when federal leadership falls short, our strength lies in coming together right here in our community. We still have the power to build something better, if we’re willing to do the hard work, together.

I’m stepping up to run for City Council in Rochester because our city is at a pivotal moment, and the stakes have never been higher. I’m here to apply my skills as an artist and organizer to foster collaborative leadership that doesn’t settle for the status quo, but fights for real progress that our neighborhoods and families can see and feel. As a fellow Democratic Committee member, I’m asking for your vote for designation this month because I hope to bring to council a fresh perspective and new energy, vital for progress.

Our community deserves a government that listens, that takes on the issues facing poor and working-class families head-on, and that stands behind the people and organizations that make our neighborhoods strong. With creativity, foresight, and heart, I’m ready to work with anyone who will tackle longstanding issues like poverty and housing instability while preparing our community for challenges on the horizon. I want every resident to have the chance to live a good life, with real opportunities for joy and fulfillment. That’s the future I’m fighting for, and I hope you’ll join me.

With love,
Kelly
