We’re in the final stretch of gathering signatures to officially get on the ballot for Rochester City Council. This is how grassroots campaigns like mine move forward—by working together, neighbor to neighbor.
To get on the ballot, I need at least 1000 valid signatures from registered Democrats in the city, but the goal is to collect way more to ensure we qualify, even if some get challenged. I’m on a petition with several others, including Mary Lupien who’s running for mayor (!!) so we can share the load of collecting them. Every signature is a step closer to building the kind of city we deserve—one where our voices are heard, our needs are met, and our public spaces belong to all of us.
Want to help? You can:
- Swing by and sign!
- Drive’n Sign: Noon on Sundays at Worker’s United (750 East Avenue)
- Sip’n Sign: Tuesdays from 2-5 at Boulder Coffee (100 Alexander Street)
- Carry a petition and collect signatures: from your friends and neighbors. Join in Sunday 3/23
